Creation vs Evolution is one area of faith where Christians frequently feel embarassed and are willing to back down to evolutionists. This is mostly because they don't realize that, scientifically speaking, we've got the goods. It is possible, with good science, to cast enough doubt on the veracity of Evolution that Creationism becomes a perfectly viable option for the intellectually-oriented believer. The simple fact is that Evolution is based on logical fallacies, not the least of which is carbon dating.

Ask a paleontologist the best way to date bones and he or she will tell you that you look at the date of the rocks in which they are found and that's how you know. Then you ask a geologist how to date the rocks, and he or she will tell you that the best way is to look at the age of the fossils that occur in the rocks and that's how you know the rocks' age.
